NotaryOfficial.com is a paid advertising directory. We require notaries to confirm they hold a valid commission when signing up, but we do not independently verify credentials, licenses, insurance, or bonding status.

You are responsible for verifying that any notary you hire is currently commissioned in your state and qualified to perform the type of notarization you need. You can typically verify a notary's commission status through your state's Secretary of State website.

No. Searching for notaries and viewing listings is completely free. Any fees for notary services are set by the notary themselves and are entirely separate from NotaryOfficial.com.

Create a free account, complete your listing profile, and choose a plan. Your listing is submitted for review and typically goes live within one business day of payment. You must hold a valid notary commission to be listed.

Basic ($19/year) — Your listing appears in search results with your name, location, phone number, services, and credentials.

Professional ($49/year) — Everything in Basic, plus a contact message form on your listing page so visitors can send you inquiries directly, a publicly displayed profile photo or business logo, priority placement above Basic listings in search, and a "Verified Notary Pro" badge that increases trust and visibility.

Featured listings are a paid add-on (available in 3, 6, or 12-month terms) that places your listing at the top of search results in your area. You must have an active Basic or Professional plan to purchase a Featured placement.

Listing plans are billed annually and renew automatically each year. You'll be charged to the card on file through our secure payment processor, Stripe. You can view your billing history from your member dashboard.

If your listing is rejected before it goes live, you will receive a full refund. Once a listing has been approved and published, subscription fees are non-refundable, including if you cancel before the end of the subscription year. Featured add-on fees are non-refundable once purchased. See our Terms and Conditions for full details.

Log in to your member dashboard and click Edit Listing. Changes are submitted for a quick review before going live. There is no fee to update your listing.

Log in to your dashboard, go to Account Settings, and click Delete My Account. This permanently removes your listing and cancels your subscription. You will not be charged at the next renewal. You can also email [email protected] to request account removal.
